“The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool.”
William Shakespeare
I’ve decided I like the quotes. I think each post is going to have it’s own quote from now on. I can’t promise that they will always be 100% related the post’s content, but I’ll do my best. At the very least they should be fun, and maybe make each one a little more memorable and unique. I chose this quote today because I feel like this post in particular is going to focus on wisdom– or more accurately, the using knowledge to run a half way decent blog, and how my blog could help me in the future. So, with that in mind, let us begin.
Do’s and Dont’s
In my last post, I talked briefly about how I was using my class resources to improve my blog. While the first post was a little rough, thanks to this list, I have since been educated on a few things to do, and a few things to never, ever do under any circumstances. Ever. One of the good ones that I can apply to this post and many of my future posts is adding links to get more clicks. And check it out! I did that! And it looks totally rad!

Not only does this list have great information for this blog, but for web page design in general. Since my major is communications, I will be using the internet in my career every single day. For example, if I were an entertainment journalist who wrote for an online publication, like Screen Rant, it would probably be a good idea to know NOT to limit my word count and make obvious grammar mistakes.
In the Future
Applying the right strategies to my blog should theoretically help it succeed. In order to make things readable and worthwhile for my readers, I have to make sure my content is easily accessible. I also have to make sure any information that they may be looking for is easy to find. This is made way simpler by the use of headings.
I like to think this blog will only get better as time goes on and I continually learn new things about what can make a web page successful. The important thing is knowing that I always have room to grow and improve.
