Okay, so this week we’re going to be talking about Weebly, and my experience with building my first website on it. I haven’t done much yet, so there’s not much to tell, but we’re going to try anyway. Signing Up for Weebly

The process for creating a Weebly account was exceedingly simple and I appreciate that. Despite my young appearance, I am one to consider myself technologically inept. That is to say– computers can confuse me. Weebly made sure that I knew what was going on during every step of the set up, and the interface of the website creator is very user friendly. I’m excited to play around with it more and see where it goes.

Choosing a Theme

Choosing a theme was probably the most fun part of creating my Weebly account. It gives off a general vibe of what your website could look like when you’re done. The theme I chose was a relatively simple one, because I don’t want my website to be too complicated. I want the outline of my website to be as straightforward as possible, so that it isn’t difficult to navigate when it’s finished.

Why a Weebly Website?

Why use Weebly? What features make it an easy tool for beginner content creators? Well, as I stated earlier the interface of the creator is very user friendly. I never feel lost, and I pretty much always know what’s going on. Not only that, but they also have this nifty list of tips that I plan on taking advantage of in the coming weeks as I get my .Website to a place where I want it. With a little work I have no doubt that this website is going to be pretty awesome.
